As it stands, the 2012 winner’s tour will start on very next weekend after the Grand Final at The O2, with Cockermouth Rock Festival on the weekend of 20th-22nd July! Next up is the 3rd-5th August 2012 at Stockton Weekender just outside of Middlesborough, the following weekend the winners will be playing 3 festivals in 3 days! Relentless Energy Drink Boardmasters, Cloud9 Festival and Strawberry Fields Festival – without a doubt 3 of the biggest festival slots for unsigned acts to have surfaced in the UK over the last few years!                                                    

The week after that, they will join former Live and Unsigned runners up The Robbie Boyd Band at Just So Festival, where the best unsigned acts come to the surface at this quirky family friendly event. The following weekend will be a weekend off for the Live and Unsigned champions...maybe the break from their hectic festival schedule they’ll surface to spend some of that £10,000 cash on some new equipment or studio time? Who knows?!

The first weekend of September will have them experiencing more of the best of the festival season, with the band set to re-surface on the unsigned festival tour in Wales with Glass Butter Beach on the Friday, then Brownstock Festival in Essex on Saturday, finishing with an all-mighty BANG at Bingley Music Live on the Sunday!

The rest of September will see them taking Butserfest (if the band fit the ‘Rock’ ethos of this great festival), Norfolk Spectacular and London Summer Jam by storm, before ending on a high withLancaster Music Festival.

We’ve gone even further to surface the best unsigned festival slots for our Area/Regional finalists, before the Grand Final even takes place we’ll be giving out slots at some major Spring festivals for example Beach Break Live, Guernsey Festival and OsFest!

Watchet LIVE and Boomtown Fair will provide quirky alternatives in the West of England, while on the East coast, Brownstock and Beverley are the festivals to go to for a family-friendly grass-roots vibe.

The Big Stooshie in Scotland is in its first year, but it has high aspirations of becoming thelargest Help For Heroes/SSAFA Forces Help Scottish fundraiser in 2012, and with big names like James, The Boomtown Rats andThe Hoosiers amongst the veritable cornucopia of acts already confirmed it is easy to see why!
