Kiss FM presenter Charlie Hedges to judge unsigned acts with Live and Unsigned!

KISS FM presenter Charlie Hedges is the newest addition to the judging panel for this year’s Live and Unsigned competition! Broadcasting to over 4 million people every week on KISS FM, Charlie Hedges has one of the most listened-to voices in the UK, and has interviewed everyone from Daniel Craig and Jennifer Aniston to Mariah Carey, Rhianna, Kanye West, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Charlie Hedges will now be on board to help judge the UK’s biggest competition for original bands and acts.

As well as being one of the biggest voices in radio, KISS FM presenter Charlie Hedges has been busy making a name for herself as a DJ, playing what she calls ‘Electro-House with a twist.’ Since her first gig two years ago, Charlie Hedges has since been booked at the likes of Proud2, Ministry of Sound, Global Gathering, V Festival, Wireless, Isle of White and one of Ibiza’s biggest clubs, Space.

2012 will also see KISS FM presenter Charlie Hedges make her debut on the BBC, with the upcoming documentary‘Burning the Candle at Both Ends.’ The series, which focuses on those with high profile jobs, will dedicate a whole episode on Charlie and her work life balance, documenting a typical day, starting with the Breakfast show, followed by the usual meetings and photo shoots before heading behind the decks at one of Charlie’s DJ gigs.

KISS FM presenter Charlie Hedges’ growing TV work includes MTV voiceovers and even the odd talking head spot, as recently seen on Channel 5’s 50 Greatest Weddings Shockers.  Add this to her increasing DJ bookings, the upcoming BBC Documentary, plus training for this year’s London Marathon (with her fellow Kiss presenters) and 2012 is a big year for Charlie Hedges.
