Singing competition BRIGHTON – Audition Feedback!

Aura – Needed a little more vocal support of the lead, and perhaps the addition of keyboards to the act but needed to be fuller.

Carla George – Had a sweet sound, very nice on the ear.

Hayley Cann Backing track needs to be developed in a studio and also make more of the hook to the song.

Clear As Mud – Liked the style, got us all jumping. Song is catchy and engaging strive for even more energy frontman.

Beggarz FixxGood vocal support from the guitarist perhaps a bit more performance required from them to back it up.

Coco the Butterfields One of the bands of the day! Female vocals are silky, the song is great it works so well as a single release so radio friendly. Being ultra critical beat boxer could do with finding something original with beat boxing style it could be just another beat boxer perhaps addition of rap too rather than overuse of the beat box style.

Gil Cohen – Liked the idea but suffered in the execution from pitch and timing.

Almost Monday– Good name and a good vibe.

Alfie Jones – Good interaction and connection with his audience being the judges on this occasion.

The Blues Ever Greens– Good sound fitting to the band name but all looking down when playing was a very uninspiring performance which they will need to work on. Try and look like you’re having fun!

International Diamond Thieves– Liked the way they threw themselves into the performance like it was the last song of the night, great passion but hopefully the attitude is purely for the on stage stuff with this band.

Singing competition BRIGHTON – Further feedback

Charlotte CurwoodSong choice needs to be considered carefully and try and project your voice more.

Departure from Normal – Poor start but good energy and looked like a band with loads of potential.

Crazy Bald Head – Song would work well in a ska band as an solo act probably needs more.

Freddie Light– Lovely mash up worked really well with an amazing voice.

Derider– Maybe need to consider how you line up on stage, bass player is very tall so perhaps have on the wing can’t see drummer either which is even more important as singing too.

Delaney– Vocals worked well very comfortable.

Flint Lock– Need to think about image got a good catchy song need to pull through a performance and image as one unified.

Jake Whetcombe Really good but perhaps the delivery is too similar to Ed Sheeran, need to develop an edge to that style otherwise going to keep getting compared to Mr Sheeran.

Singing competition BRIGHTON – Further feedback

In Dynamics– Drummer is frantic and engaging playing. Lead vocalist don’t forget to engage with your audience.

Jet Pack Elastic– Musically good, great vocals but look at image it needs synergy and more passion from the lead gutarist.

Aaron– Lovely voice, but we are looking for originality.

Quackhouse – Fantastic harmonies although a little repetitive.

Noraay– Great song and style, think about your image know its winter but you need to look like you’re a pop star.

Reminisce– More stage presence required and a new image.

Rhea Melia Good song just remember to perform throughout to the end and try and give more presence.

Tripping over air– Little Script sounding, but could do with being tighter as a band.

Loveridge Nice enough song but needed to drive through more of a hook and was a little old fashioned.

Dillon– Watch mic control keep the mic to your mouth at all times.

Mirna Lovely sentiment, good connection to the music.

Lauren Tester– Need to cool the vibrato (wobble) in the voice as too much.

The Sighted and Captures– Need a little more practice to get tighter be good to see them again in a year.
