Win festival slots at Wales festival Glass Butter Beach 2012 with Live and Unsigned! The Wales festival has teamed up with Live and Unsigned to give a festival slot to the Live & Unsigned 2012 champion! Glass Butter Beach will also be included in the UK tour for the overall winner.

Wales festival Glass Butter Beach is an annual surf, wake, BMX, skate and music festival held in Llanbedrog near Abersoch, Gwynedd, North Wales

Glass Butter Beach is a festival in Wales described as a playground of tranquil proportions. Flat grassy fields raised up from the beach that sits a 2 minute walk below. Great festival moments embrace you with open air & tented stages and a whole host of other magical entertainments, while the festival campsite boasts views like no other; Cardigan Bay, Snowdonia Mountains and the festivals very own beach.

From the beach of the Wales festival you can wakeboard, kayak, stand up paddleboard, swim, or if dry land is your preference then revel in the beach fun with the Beach Stage, the Beach Bar, the Beach BBQ and many other beach indulgences. This beach is sheltered with calm waters, but get to Hell’s Mouth a few miles away and enjoy surfing and some of the best waves in the country or watch the pros compete for the Butter Beach Pro. In fact you can watch the pros in wakeboarding, skateboarding & BMX too as they have some of the best international athletes in the mix.

In 2011, Wales festival Glass Butter Beach saw such acts as Rizzle Kicks, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Goldierocks, Aswad and a whole other eclectic mix of established and up-and-coming artists perform across three stages. This has led to the organisers being inundated with requests from signed and unsigned bands alike to perform at their 2012 event.

Chris Grayston, managing director of Live and Unsigned, said; ‘We’re really starting to put meat to the bones of our winner’s tour now and I can’t think of many festivals better to do that than a Wales festival like Glass Butter Beach. The line-up over the last 6 years has grown in magnitude for every outing; this year can only mean big things for the festival and our winner!’

Win Wales Festival Slots

The festival in Wales isn’t the only prize for the 2012 champion...So far the winner of Live and Unsigned 2012 is confirmed to be going to Glass Butter Beach, Bingley Music Live, Norfolk Spectacular, Boardmasters, Strawberry Fields Festival, Brownstock,ButserFest, Just So Festival, London Summer Jam and Lancaster Music Festival. Yes you counted right, that makes 10 UK Festivals SO FAR! That list is hopefully set to increase over the next couple of weeks, and it will also include an additional international festival.

Live & Unsigned is the biggest unsigned music competition for original unsigned bands and artists in the UK. It offers the finalists the chance to play at The O2 in London alongside some of the UK's best musicians at Live Fest, London’s biggest indoor festival. There’s also £100,000 worth of prizes to be won, including an additional new main cash prize of £10,000 for the winning act to spend on development.

Auditions will begin in January 2012 and all acts in the competition are auditioned live. Acts that make it through the audition stage will get to perform to industry judges, A & R associates and celebrity guests. Judging last year’s competition and hopefully set to join the panel again in 2012 include; Radio 1 DJ’s Annie Nightingale, Ras Kwame, Tom Deacon and Daniel P Carter; Kerrang’s Alex Baker; and Happy Mondays star Bez.
