Singing competition London – Audition Feedback!
3 – Song was well constructed, played well and very tight but did lack performance and interaction to the audience.
Albakush – Really tight, like the image with good dynamic.
Akazia – Good vocal but would have liked to have seen the whole band, didn’t set a good impression that they were not all here.
Carl Brown – Very marketable with a lovely tone to your voice but nerves were present and caused a little pitching issue will need to overcome nerves. Choose a song that fits more comfortably with your range.
Crell – Really like the track and nice harmonies could just work on tightening up mistimed vocals.
City of Saints – Potential but not sure about the FX on the violin which added to a messy and uncoordinated sound.
Ronaldo – Nice, a very individual voice but watch mic control, and you were a little pitchy on the chorus.
Sarah Dewarren – Confident performance.
Beardsmith – Full sound of vocals, good to watch with nice harmonies just watch tuning as a little pitchy. The band looked together, with a good image. They’re going places as will create interest.
Backyard Bully – Great energy from all the band and a very good front man could well imagine them getting a crowd rocking. Watch where you merge the rap and the vocals to create more impact.
Singing competition London – Further feedback
Broken Way – Great synchronisation in the band, good energy just give more vocals in the chorus bits, not taking away from seeing loads of potential in this acts.
City Minus Hero – Would be nice to have heard some backing singing from the band to give more fullness.
Caught Leaves – Started slightly weak but quickly tightened up to demonstrate a very individual band.
Crystal Fish – Great sound and groove, work on your stage presence.
Darlene Charles - Very strong original simple and endearing, would be nice to hear her play with a guitarist.
Emily Felix Band – Great band who supported Emily well, good song and tight great audition. Emily looked good but maybe needs a bit more performance.
End Transmission – Great vocal and a tight band with a great front woman.
Eyes that Lie – A good act, rhythm and vocal were good.
Yurie – Work on your vocal range song doesn’t kick in soon enough then it’s an anti climax.
Art Of The State – Will need to work hard to get up to speed as image and performance at the moment below par, but plenty of potential especially once got into the performance.
Jaye B – Lyrics were good but delivery and performance needed more polish.
Jones 2.0 – Loved the backing track, the sample was very current with good lyrics and delivery.
Grievances aside – Great front man but put more energy in to the performance between vocal parts and drummer needs to be more aggressive.
Singing competition London – Further feedback
Melissa – Bring a step to the performance and bring the song alive as it’s a good one, need to engage more with the audience.
Archie and the Alpacas – Looked comfortable and a strong band sounding current yet individual, would have benefitted from keys to be even better. Front man needs to do more than having his hands in his pockets.
Katy Hurt – Watch this girl what an original, one of the best of the day.
Malcolm – Nice song but need to work the chorus more it needs more dynamics and more lyrics.
Mothership – Very cool and strong vocals, great energy and stage presence.
Chase Da Musiq – Need to project more as have a nice tone but need greater strength in the vocal.
Instincts of Nature – Musically good but lacked performance and image.
I’m Called George – Loved the groove and hook of the song in fact liked them before they started, great track with lots of energy.
In Transmission – Good energy, well rehearsed with a good lead, remember to engage with the audience and work on a more uniformed image.
Mariner Brown – One of the most complete bands of the day; lots of energy and performed really well. Can see this band doing well in the competition if they work hard.
Mitsotu – Beautiful harmonies and great chemistry between the three of you.
Modern Day Jester – Interesting sound and combination of vocals and beat boxing however work is required on the vocals.
Mr Farian – Great vocal be nice to hear a track with more vocal integrity.
Shredder – Not sure it needs all the gimmicks let the music do the talking. Leave the keys and concentrate on the guitar.
Tony T – Much improved from last time we saw Tony, much more commitment to the performance and very entertaining.
Red Light Robots – Like the name, great lead guitarist, vocal needed strengthening.
Red Eye – A bit slow starting but once going was energetic and enjoyable.
Nabouli – Project more and get closer to the mic.
Queens Road – Potential with loads of energy need to just tighten up especially at the start, front man is very natural and top lead guitar. Quirky look and sound but there was no interaction with the audience.
Olivia Shafique – Slow down started way too fast, vocals were different and strong but you need some coaching to get your timing and notes spot on.
Sounds like Static – Like the shorts but you were a little static work on your entertainment factor.
Project Oblivion – Great band very tight, chorus was weaker than verse but vocal and style felt distinctive.
Plus one – Sweet song, practice coordinating your vocals and guitar so both are as good as each other.
Ten Pound – Watch not to get too heavy on the chorus it will drown out the vocals.
The Nameless Girl – Great song, great image, great front person but synth breakdown could have been more inspiring.
The Maybirds –Quality, great build to the song, lovely harmonies very Inspiring vocal and excellent track. Remember to keep the harmonies tight at all times.
The Skernes – Good solid track, drummer needs to drum harder for his style, good act but need to have more energy.
Vivienne Yole – Really love the track, very interesting, lovely vocal track with great dynamic.
Two Little Boys – Love the vocal style with a really good dynamic.
The Upgrade – Awesome individual vocal, great original track and chemistry be great to see them live at a gig.
Felicia Weeks – Strong vocal but definitely needs coaching to get more dynamics.
Western Bears – A little sloppy at times but overall engaging and strong performance.
Zsa Zsa & Oscar – Both have individually good voices but need to work out some harmonies and a song that will allow you to blend together.
