The popular festival is a non profit three day 5000 capacity grass roots festival held in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Affectionately named 'CockRock' by local festival goers, the festival is now in its 8th year and is situated on the edge of the beautiful Lake District with idyllic camping, full panoramic views of the Cumbrian Fells and a friendly atmosphere that is second to none!

CockRock Festival Gig

Year on year CockRock Festival receives thousands of requests from unsigned acts from around the region and across the UK applying to play at the festival, but spaces are always limited. So, for the first time, Cockermouth Rock have joined forces with the Live and Unsigned competition to give festival gigs to four acts to perform at the award winning festival! The lucky winners will be chosen from the Newcastle Regional Finals to play a slot at CockRock Festival.

Initially established as a rock festival, CockRock has since grown to include all genres and many established bands have graced the stages over the years including: Goldie Lookin Chain, Funeral For a Friend, The Bluetones, Dodgy and Scratch Perverts.
