Rock Music competition Line-up confirmed for Live and Unsigned
The Rock Music competition judge panel for the Live and Unsigned Grand Rock Final at The O2 is set to be massive, as judges already confirmed include Radio One’s rock aficionado Daniel P.Carter, Kerrang’s Alex Baker who presents the Unsigned show on Kerrang Radio, Kids in Glass Houses’ Aled and Iain, Tom Deacon presenter of Sunday evenings on Radio One and Ryan Richards –drummer of Funeral For A Friend.
This huge line-up of the great and the good from the Rock music world are set to take to The IndigO2 for the Grand National finals on the 23rd July, and will be looking out for the latest and greatest in unsigned talent in the hope of crowning them Best Live and Unsigned Rock Act of 2011, and maybe even seeing them crowned as overall winners of the Live and Unsigned competition.
With such a high calibre of Rock music judges at the Live and Unsigned Rock Final, it’ll be down to the Live and Unsigned grand finalists to really impress the panel and show they have what it takes to be the next big thing! Judge Tom Deacon recently let Live and Unsigned know what he was looking for at the finals: “ For me personally, a single has to connect and have something memorable such as tune or lyrics – it has to be catchy and make you want to listen!”
The Live and Unsigned Grand National Final is part of Live Fest, London’s Largest indoor festival, which takes place across five venues within the famous London O2, from the glamorous Proud2 to Union Square, Inc Club, IndigoO2 and ASBaG, Live Fest has a huge variety of music genres to suit any tastes - so whether you’re into urban beats or rock music, pop and hardcore, this is the festival for you!
