Want to play live at IVYLIVE Festival? Well now, you can, as Live and Unsigned is pleased to announce it has joined forces with IVYLIVE Festival to give opportunities for Live and Unsigned winners to play at the festival and entertain the masses this summer! 

The popular festival takes place on 9-11th September 2011 in Ivybridge, South Devon.Headline acts for 2011 are still to be announced, but last year’s line up included massive acts such as The Magic Numbers, Athlete and Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly.

Each year IVYLIVE receives thousands of requests from unsigned acts from around the region and across the UK applying to play at the festival, but spaces are always limited. So for this summer’s festival IIVYLIVE is working in conjunction with the Live and Unsigned competition to find five acts to play at the renowned festival.

Over 10,000 bands and acts enter the Live and Unsigned Music competition each year and compete to be named the UK’s best Live and Unsigned act. All acts in the competition are auditioned live which is what makes Live and Unsigned so unique, there are no demos or submissions.

Those who make it through the audition stage will progress to the Live showcases and get to perform to industry judges, A&R associates and celebrity guests in some of the UK's most prestigious venues. Along the way there will be opportunities for bands to prove their mettle and get their hands on the coveted IVYLIVE slots, as well as chances to win tickets to the Festival.
