UK’s Biggest Battle Of The Bands And Acts Competition In Portsmouth - Results
The UK’s biggest battle of the bands and acts competition took place in Portsmouth at the Guildhall this weekend, as the Live and Unsigned Regional Final rolled into town.
The Regional Final brought together the best unsigned acts from Hampshire and beyond, in a bid to make it to the Area Final. Acts are now just one step away from playing the National Grand Final at Live Fest in the O2, London.
The headline act taking to the stage alongside Live and Unsigned Regional Finalists in Portsmouth were rock fivesome We Are The Ocean who took the audience by storm with a blast of rhythmic noise and melodic guitar. Danica Hunter also played at the show, treating the crowd with her powerful, unique and captivating voice.
Judges presiding over the Portsmouth Regional Final included musician and songwriter Graeme Ennis, Dielle Lodrick, vocal coach for Igloo music and Portsmouth Music festival, Stuart Slater from Slater Drum School, Dave Phillips from South Coast Audio, Russell Scott from Russell Scott Management, International singer Rosalind Fountain and Butserfest organiser Mike Goncalves.
