Francesqa to take on the MusicRadar Live and Unsigned Tour!

Francesqa will be taking on the MusicRadar Live and Unsigned Tour at the Journal Tyne Theatre in Newcastle on Sunday 24th April, the popular rock quintet will be performing as special guest headliners and will be supported by all the Live and Unsigned talent that the North West and Scotland has to offer!

Hailing from Berkshire, Francesqa fever has quickly spread, with the band playing support to Young Guns, The Automatic, Future and Deaf Havana.

With a couple of well received demos under their belts and an impressive live show on the build, the five-piece recorded ‘We Lived’ with producer Peter Miles (The King Blues, Canterbury, Futures). The result, a 5-track affair, that received 4/5K’s in Kerrang Magazine, being compared to Muse, Lost Prophets and You Me At Six.  The EP is bursting at the seams with soaring vocal hooks and summery guitar lines, coupled with a solid rhythm section that keep proceedings punchy.

Francesqa consist of anthem makers Ashley Wilkes on Vocals, Joe Hicks on Guitar,  Tom Millar on Guitar, Ben Hordos on Bass and Warren Senior on Drums, and they will be playing a selection of their most catchy songs and best offerings from their latest EP.

Support for the band has come from all angles, but perhaps most unexpectedly from Blink 182 and Angels and Airwaves front man, Tom Delonge. Delonge picked the band out from thousands of entries to open the Slam Dunk Festivals in May 2010.
