UK’s Biggest Battle Of The Bands And Acts Competition In Birmingham - Results
The UK’s biggest battle of the bands and acts competition took place in Birmingham at the NEC Exchange this weekend, as the Live and Unsigned Regional Final rolled into town.
The Regional Final brought together the best unsigned acts from the Midlands and beyond, in a bid to make it to the Area Final. Acts are now just one step away from playing the National Grand Final at Live Fest in the O2, London.
The headline acts taking to the stage alongside Live and Unsigned Regional Finalists in Birmingham were Flood of Red who entertained the audience by with some rocking indie tunes. Joe Karchud also played as a guest act at Birmingham, treating the crowd to his unique brand of acoustic material and showing why he made the finals of Live and Unsigned in 2010.
Judges presiding over the Birmingham Regional Finals included Kerrang Radio’s Danielle Perry, Dutch Van Spall of Big Help, Benjamin Price of High Peak Radio, Osfest Event Manager Carly Jackson and Dance Choreographer Tanya Anderson.
With so much talent, it was difficult for the judges to make a decision and the successful acts that are through to the Area Final are listed below. Congratulations to those that made it through to the Midlands Area Final on Saturday 7th May 2011 at the Bedford Corn Exchange!
