UK’s Biggest Battle Of The Bands And Acts Competition In Sheffield - Results

The UK’s biggest battle of the bands and acts competition took place in Sheffield at the City Hall this weekend, as the Live and Unsigned Regional Final rolled into town.

The Regional Final brought together the best unsigned acts from South Yorkshire and beyond, in a bid to make it to the Area Final. Acts are now just one step away from playing the National Grand Final at Live Fest in the O2, London.

The headline act taking to the stage alongside Live and Unsigned Regional Finalists in Sheffield was Joe Karchud,  who treated the crowd to his unique brand of acoustic material and showed exactly why he made the finals of Live and Unsigned in 2010.

Judges presiding over the Sheffield Regional Final included The Smiths drummer and musical legend Mike Joyce, Benjamin Price from High Peak Radio, Professional Singer Bob Young and Chris Grayston of Future Music Management.

With so much talent, it was difficult for the judges to make a decision and the successful acts that are through to the Area Final are listed below. Congratulations to those that made it through to the North West England Area Final on Sunday 8th May 2011, The Willows, Manchester!
