UK’s Biggest Battle Of The Bands And Acts Competition In Bedford - Results

The UK’s biggest battle of the bands and acts competition took place in Bedford at the Corn Exchange this weekend, as the Live and Unsigned Regional Final rolled into town.

The Regional Final brought together the best unsigned acts from Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and beyond, in a bid to make it to the Area Final. Acts are now just one step away from playing the National Grand Final at Live Fest in the O2, London.

The headline act taking to the stage alongside Live and Unsigned Regional Finalists in Bedford were the Qemists who took the audience by storm with blasting break-beats and dance rock rifts, the band had come straight from touring Asia, having performed across Japan.  Joe Karchud also played as a guest act at Bedford, treating the crowd to his unique brand of acoustic material and showing why he made the finals of Live and Unsigned in 2010.

Judges presiding over the Bedford Regional Final included Kerrang Radio’s Alex Baker, Dutch Van Spall of Big Help, Neil Haynes of Parlour Recording Studios, The Qemists’ Leon Harris, Chris Grayston of Future Music Management and Martin Family of Aston End Studios.

With so much talent, it was difficult for the judges to make a decision and the successful acts that are through to the Area Final are listed below. Congratulations to those that made it through to the Midlands Area Final on Saturday 7th May 2011 at the Bedford Corn Exchange!
