Final 1
Brutal Dynamics- Have potential but very messy, evident far more time is needed practising to bring home a routine. Also need more attitude
J.Bravo- A very cool old Skool almost Wu-Tang vibe, very cool flows. Visually needs more on stage maybe work with band? Track needs more hooks and work on image
Helena Starz- Good voice, seemed to have more confidence during her cover, needs to develop confidence throughout the performance. More stage presence and needs that attitude to emphasis what you are singing
Distracted- Needs more performance as it was static. Sing in harmonies instead of unison through the chorus of the first song, lots of potential here!
Area 67- Very good guitarist who performed an awesome guitar solo. Need to think of a new band name bad for searching on the internet, you fans will never find you! Also think image needs updating
John Harper- Would have had better stage presence if stood up. Try singing higher. Good cover
Dan Audio- Really good vibe, original was really strong. Performance needed from all members of the band –it shouldn’t be left to the front man - the rest of the band looked bored
The Creeks- The bassist was really tight! As a band though need to tighten up and play more in harmony. Need a unified image
Laura Bancroft- Good voice, could use smoother guitar playing and convey the feel of the song
Soundsphere- Really nice vibe and well worked harmonies, almost there – keep rehearsing and playing in front of live audiences
Lila- Loved the original song has so much potential, need to work on performance skills, which will only come through more practice and then confidence from that
Raymonics- A good vibe, good smiles and good attitude just need to practice and work on the act as a whole. Would benefit from some harmonies to give greater vocal depth. Adele was definitely too big a number for them
Sarah Dean - The Incredible String Blonde!- Enchanting and some genuinely beautiful moments. Can’t see it storming the charts, need to work on general appeal
Tom Gee- Very good guitarist had a Clapton vibe. Original was better than the cover
Dukes of Bevington- Was edgy but be careful to make sure you are all in synch
Shannon Mares- Attitude and individuality made it a great performance. Consider dressing more age appropriately as it detracted from a very good performance
Final 2
Ben Marron- Good voice and a strong start. Nicely written song. The sound seems a little old for him though. Good potential!
Keon Hill- Really good rapping voice, and great confidence and image. Performance needs to include a cover song, or at least a sample – check the rules!
A.K.A- Really talented for their age. Lead guitarist and drummer are excellent. Singer needs to gain more confidence, but overall a good performance
Finesse- Nice routine, but vocals suffered a little. Concentrate on singing vocal control and not so much on dancing, you shouldn’t need the choreography with such good performances
The Sighting- Good band, but need to re-think image, it will hold them back. Good performance overall
Bash- Sounded nice vocally, but should have chosen a more up-beat song, it came across as dated. Keep it up, but work on originality!
Littlemores- Great look, great set up, tight performance. Vocals could have been stronger, perhaps down to nerves. Great overall performance
Karina Jessen- Talented and has potential, but seemed nervous. Performance was a little dull, needs to be picked up. Needed to perform something a bit more modern and relevant
Ryder- Good performance, be careful on vocals. Work on collective band image
Kirsty Louise White- Seemed nervous, but nice voice. Not original enough and lacked stage presence. Would be great with a backing band
Lockin- Great cover choice. The bass player made the act very good. Work on the original material, need something to really make you stand out
Marc Otway- Very good overall performance. Good skills on guitar, but vocals could have been better, seemed nervous. It suits him more to sing, rather than rap. Could upgrade the image. Consider playing with a backing band
Chasing Dragons- Some sound issues, which seemed to shake their nerves a bit. Tight musicianship overall and good image!
Sarah Palmer- Good movement and performance. Musical theatre is ideal for her. Would have been nice to see some original material
The Gonzos- Good image and energy. They have potential, good sound, but could get a little better on stage
Pheonix- Nice routine. Vocals were a bit weak, but good job holding it all together. Good potential for the future
One Day Remains- Amazing performance, and very original. Excellent cover choice-brilliantly done. Nice guitar solo.
Wayne Dawson- Good voice, and chose the perfect cover, although could have been more original. Good potential, but seemed very nervous. Might be better with a backing band
The Syndicates- Great performance all round, and great personalities. Guitarist had great stage presence. Vocals were a little weak in places so keep rehearsing
