Live and Unsigned arrives in Dublin!

Live and Unsigned arrived in Dublin recently as Exposure award winners Fuel for the Fire set off on all all-expenses paid trip to play a gig in the famous Temple Bar area of the capital city and record a music video, thanks to MUZU.TV.

Fuel for the Fire took part in Live and Unsigned 2011 and went all the way to the Grand Final, increasing their fan base and getting some great coverage along their journey. They competed with other acts throughout the competition by driving as many views to their MUZU videos in order to win the MUZU Exposure Award, which offered a trip to Dublin to perform in a top venue and record a music video at the MUZU.TV studio.

The band worked hard to get the highest number of views for their performances, won the MUZU Exposure award for this, and were crowned winners on the main stage of the Live and Unsigned Festival at the O2 in London in front of a capacity crowd.

Lead vocalist for Fuel for the Fire Stephen Chapman said: “It feels unreal that we won! We had been looking forward to this for months now and practising like crazy to get as tight as possible for our first ever music video and gig outside the UK – and it didn’t disappoint, the reaction from the Dublin crowd was fantastic!

“We strongly recommend for bands to enter Live and Unsigned, as it open so many doors that wouldn’t normally be there for unsigned bands. You can’t get much better than playing at the O2 and we had so much fun throughout the competition - we definitely grew as a band.”

The Live and Unsigned channel on MUZU.TV for last year’s competition has been massively popular and has clocked over 4 million views to date! Videos for Live and Unsigned 2011 are about to be uploaded and you can watch the performances here www.muzu.tv/liveandunsigned.
