Live and Unsigned Champions The Lottery Winners Launch New Single Lovers Lane

Live and Unsigned champions The Lottery Winners launch their aptly titled single Lovers Lane this February 14th. The track is the second release from the new album Art of Communication, which is due out this spring. Both Lovers Lane and hit single Paper Plate Faces are available to download now via iTunes and Amazon.

Boasting a refreshing new alternative sound that has wide audience appeal, The Lottery Winners are a Manchester-based quartet, who derive their music from an eclectic mixture of musicians ranging from The Beach Boys to The Smiths.

The Lottery Winners were overall champions out of over 10,000 entries at the Live and Unsigned music competition at the O2 London in 2010. The band also performed as the opening act at the Tour Music Fest international music festival in Rome last November.

After selling out their debut EP Drawn by Children, receiving more than 24,500 hits on You Tube and having played the prestigious BBC Band on the Wall in Manchester twice, The Lottery Winners are set to be the biggest band of 2011.

Tony Livesey, BBC Radio 5-Live presenter said: “They came, they played, they blew us away. The listeners loved The Lottery Winners.”
