Edinburgh Auditions Feedback from Live and Unsigned Music Competition
Auditions took place in Edinburgh for the Live and Unsigned Music Competition on Saturday 29thJanuary at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. The first audition in Scotland for Live and Unsigned 2011 was in the buzzing capital city and was packed full with bands and singers. Well done to all those who auditioned and especially the few who made it through to the Live Regional Final shows on Saturday 19th March.
Find below feedback for a selected few from the day who stood out for the right and sometimes wrong reasons.

Stacey Archibald - Good image with a smooth tone. Great potential but nerves affected the vocals.
Ded Rabbit - These guys had a quirky, original and engaging sound
Airplay - Original and engaging. Good harmonies with a Costello vibe.
Electro circuit - Subtle sound, there's a lot of potential to develop. A very professional and tight set for such a young band. The lead singer is a star!
Jaego - Very tight performance, good song and a great front man. It's all there!
Jason Kyron - There was some nice playing and the song/image combo worked well. Voice control needs work.
Anthony McIntyre - Immense talent but he doesn't know it. Needs belief!!
Anthony Garcia - Amazing voice. Look forward to seeing his original song.
Three Long Words - Full sound, great female backing vocals.
Cairo - Great sound, good song, tight set.
Edmund Lunar - Very original, really stood out.
Ross - Relax and try to connect with the audience more.
Elisa - Very strong powerful singer with a lovely voice.
Hardback - Loved the lead guitar and retro sound but needs a little tightening up.
Jamie Harris - Loved this guy’s vocals.
Keith Meisner - Great lyrics and smooth voice.
New Confessions - Great energy, but the lead singer needs to look at the audience more.
Rosanna - Well written song, needs to project personality when singing.
Altered Sky - Potential, good front woman.
Fire in Effects - Good vocals but the band need to tighten up.
Kid Fire - Solid rhythms and harmonies.
SO4 - Pleasing image and another tight set.
Last minute glory - Top song and the band were really tight with good stage presence.
