Exclusive Master Classes On Offer!

Live and Unsigned are committed to both discovering and developing some of the UK's finest unsigned acts. Throughout the competition development partner ICMP has offered exclusive master classes to acts with some of the world's best musicians - and now there are some more up for grabs!

As part of our continued music development policy, in conjunction with our sponsors ICMP, we can offer the following additional exclusive master classes to all regional finalists of the 2010 competition free of charge.

The following courses won't be applicable to all of you but further courses will be available in the near future. The Master Classes on offer include;

Stu Hamm. 11th October - 7pm - 9pm @ The Institute (Bassist course)
One of the most innovative and influential bassists in the music industry, Stu's style incorporates slapping, flamenco raking and polyphonic two-hand tapping chords and harmonics. With numerous solo albums, side projects and work with guitarists such as Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, he has completely redefined playing the bass guitar.

Benny Greb. 12th October - 7pm - 11pm @ The Cobden Club, London www.cobdenclub.co.uk (Drummer course)
In conjunction with Mike Dolbear, the Institute will be hosting an evening of drums featuring the incredible Benny Greb for his only London date. Come along for a night of performance and advice and get the chance to ask one of the world's most impressive drummers your questions. Before confirming please make sure you can definitely attend the date and venue in London. Please also note it will be first come first serve with places limited. Only one course is available per act or band and only one member of an act/band can apply.
