Dodgy's Nigel Clark confirmed for judging panel in the UK's biggest battle of the bands

Famous for being lead singer and bassist of the hugely successful band Dodgy, Nigel Clark is due to join the judging panel of the biggest music competition for unsigned bands in the UK.

His love of music started from an early age, when as a teenager he used to work in a record shop, whiling away the hours by putting Punk records in Duran Duran record sleeves for fun.

But it was as front man of the 90’s Brit pop three piece, Dodgy, that Nigel saw huge success and recognition in the industry. The band is most well known for hit tracks Staying Out For The Summer, If You’re Thinking Of Me and Good Enough – which reached number four in the UK singles chart.

After leaving Dodgy in 1998, to work as a solo artist with other musicians and bands, Nigel returned in 2007 to reform the band, who are currently still touring and played a successful set at Glastonbury festival last year.

Nigel continues to create new music from his own recording studio, producing a mixture of tunes from hip hop to folk.

With his vast musical knowledge, Nigel will make an excellent addition to the UK’s largest band competition.
