Extreme State Launch Into Music With Live and Unsigned

Extreme State, the innovative youth focused lifestyle clothing brand, is excited to announce their recent partnership with Live and Unsigned. Extreme State was created to transcend the boundaries between the pure fashion brands and the traditional “extreme” sports clothing. With the aim of representing the entire extreme sports lifestyle, their support for Live and Unsigned shows their commitment to inspiring talent and supporting new music.

Extreme State have become the official clothing sponsors of the event with the winners getting the opportunity to design and create their own clothing brand to be sold online and at gigs as well as a year’s worth of Extreme State clothing.

Al Gosling, CEO of the Extreme Group says ‘’We’re delighted to be sponsoring such a pioneering competition of this scale. Chris has turned Live and Unsigned into the biggest and best nationwide competition of its kind and this competition has discovered some truly original, raw and edgy acts. With the fall in revenue from album sales we know how artists are having to look to alternative streams of income and we are delighted to be able to help the winning band do this. Becoming a recording artist and designing their own clothing brand is a dream for most artists and we are delighted to be in a position to enable these dreams to be achieved.’’

Live and Unsigned’s Chris Grayston says ‘’I am extremely excited about Extreme’s involvement with Live and Unsigned this year and the introduction of the group as a partner! They are a world leading brand who are globally recognised and I know many of our acts can identify with their beliefs and their ideas. There is an obvious synergy between our two companies as we both want to develop and work with the best unsigned musicians in the UK. The prize pool offered by Extreme presents a fantastic opportunity for our acts as they’ll not only be given the chance to win an Extreme sports days out in the regional finals but they’ll also have the opportunity to initiate their own clothing brand – and it is really important to expand their act as a brand! I am elated to be working with such an established, innovative brand and look forward to the 2010 competition and developing a working relationship with the team.”

Working together Extreme State and Live and Unsigned are working on making the event bigger and better year on year.
