MTV and XFM Presenter Phil Clifton Joins Live and Unsigned

MTV and XFM presenter Phil Clifton has just confirmed his place on the Live and Unsigned 2010 judging panel!

Phil has racked up a wealth of experience in both radio and TV - his first ever time presenting being live across the Xfm network. With his listening figures constantly on the increase at Xfm, he was nominated for the prestigious “Sony Rising Star” award.

He was eventually heard by producers at MTV and was offered the chance to present some of their chart output. His regular gig – “The Official UK Rock Chart” - is a consistent ratings success and he remains heavily involved in both presenting and writing for the show. He has also worked as a ‘Roving Reporter’ for Zane Lowes legendary MTV 2 show ‘Gonzo’.

A spokesperson for Live and Unsigned added, “We’re really excited to have Phil on the judging panel. He’ll be judging alongside Radio 1’s Annie Nightingale and Urban DJ Ras Kwame at the London and South West Final. Phil’s experience within music and media will definitely be an asset to the panel.”

His CV also boasts producing and he’s presented alongside some of the most recognisable faces in the UK including Danny Wallace, Rick Edwards, Alex Zane and Dave Berry. He’s also interviewed some of the biggest names in the music industry including Pete Doherty, Kaiser Chiefs and Fall Out Boy.
