The act that achieves the most combined likes, shares and comments on their Regional Final photo will receive a free photo shoot courtesy of Andy Benge Photography! Acts have two weeks after their Regional Final pictures have been uploaded on Facebook to get as many likes, shares and comments on their Regional Final photo as possible. We've already seen some great efforts in the first few days, so start sharing now!

Judging the acts at The Hove Centre, Brighton were Head of Future Music Chris Grayston, James Meadows from Warner Music Group, Paddle Round The Pier festival organiser Jen Paddle, previous member of the production team for Top Of The Pops Des Barron, songwriter George McFarlane, Tino Leonard from imediamonkey and Reverb Radio and Lisa Holton from Brighton Singing Tuition.

The competition was fierce, and the standard was extremely high. Well done to all the acts for putting on a great show!

Feedback from the judges will be on the website for all the acts that competed shortly.

With so much talent at the Regional Final, it was difficult for the judges to make a decision as to which successful acts proceeded through to the Area Final. Congratulations to those that made it through to the Southern England final on Saturday 26th May 2012 at Portsmouth Guildhall, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, PO1 2AB.

The guest act taking to the stage alongside Live and Unsigned Regional Finalists in Brighton was Danny Shah, whose recent YouTube video ‘We Are Connected’ has seen over 800,000 hits!

For those acts that didn’t get through the Regional Finals, don’t forget to use your Wildcard! All acts have been given a Wildcard in the form of a national public vote. There is one place up for grabs and just two weeks to make your mark, so keep an eye out on the National vote page on the website and get voting for one of those last Area Final spots!

Finally, thanks to all of those who came out in their droves to support the unsigned talent of Brighton and surrounding areas – we can’t wait to see you at the Southern England final on Saturday 26th May 2012 at Portsmouth Guildhall, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, PO1 2AB.
