Phil Clifton

Phil began presenting in 2009 when he was given a slot on London indie station Xfm, where he was later nominated for the prestigious ‘Sony Rising Star’ award. During his time at the station, Phil presented the Early Breakfast slot, the Weekend Breakfast show, and a specialist Punk and New Music slot called ‘X-Punk’.

Soon after, he was picked up by MTV to host some of their chart content. His regular gig, The Official Rock Chart, can currently be seen daily, showing on MTV Rocks.

Phil is also the newest face of youth-music show Freshly Squeezed, which is on Channel 4, weekday mornings from 7:10am.
