Peter Grant
BBC Radio Presenter
Peter Grant is most known for his current role as a radio presenter on both BBC Newcastle and BBC Tees in Middlesbrough.
Peter began his career in Plymouth, where he balanced a popular breakfast show with a weekly live TV programme and regional newspaper column. After this Peter moved to London where he continued to gain experience in the industry and worked on National radio.
The popular radio presenter was then offered the opportunity of hosting one of the country’s biggest breakfast shows. Peter moved to Manchester to head up a show on well known radio station Key 103.
But it was in 1996 that he made the move to the North East where he continued to work for commercial radio as well as setting up a new station in Durham. Peter then moved to the BBC in 2009 and since then he has gained a huge following in the North East and continues to have a strong presence in the media.
