Alex Baker is a DJ and Presenter for the Unsigned Show on Kerrang Radio. He has spent his entire life surrounded by music, lives in a recording studio and spent years in the back of a van touring the country.

From touring Europe and the UK to writing and producing songs, Alex’s enthusiasm and passion for music is undeniable. Currently heading up the Unsigned show on Kerrang and listening to hundreds of demos every week means Alex knows all too well what it takes to crack the industry. He’s helped bands secure major tour slots, sign big deals and constantly pushes new talent – regardless of genre!

Now in his fourth year at Kerrang, Alex has been nominated for a number of awards including a Sony Award, A Bauer Award and a Channel 4 Talent Award. He also presents a weekly show on Q Radio.

Alex’s CV also boasts playing live and DJ sets all over the world and he’s currently a music ambassador for Monster Energy Drink, spotting new metal acts to sign up!

And where will you find Alex on his time off? Mainly obsessing over bands at gigs or DJ’ing somewhere in the world!
