As owner of Oyster House Media, the UK’s largest independent publisher of music magazines, Hugo Montgomery-Swan has a wealth of experience in the industry. Along with his wife Michaela, Hugo owns and runs Oyster House Media which has a total readership of over 100,000. Their portfolio covers virtually every form of contemporary music and modern instrument available and the company is also responsible for staging live events and concerts, including RIBFEST and The London Drum Show.

Hugo is also a busy working musician and singer/songwriter and has performed with countless rock acts such as Thin Lizzy, Wishbone Ash, Steve Vai and Mountain. Over the last 18 months Hugo has performed shows at Birmingham NEC, London Earls Court and London Excel and several leading outdoor festivals with his rock band Swans In Flight. His current 16 track album features no less than 13 world-class guest musicians from bands such as The Billy Idol Band, Whitesnake, Megadeth, Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull, Alice Cooper Band, The Pretenders and Robert Plant Band.
