The Qemists

The Qemists performed at the Live and Unsigned tour in Bedford with Leon Harris also joining the Judge panel which included Kerrang's Alex Baker. The Dance rock conjurors were special guests at the Bedford Corn Exchange and headlined the show, treating fans to a blast of bionic, hybrid noise.
The Qemists consist of Leon Harris on Drums, Liam Black on Guitar and Dan Arnold on Drums, the band have been together for ten years and have challenged the definition of the word band by producing all of their own tracks.
Best known for being rock kids seduced by the dance floor, The Qemists prove that they are the most original band there is, combining hurtling break-beats and metallic riffs to create a sound that is truly and completely qemical!
The Qemists’ Bedford performance will be one to remember as the Drum ‘n’ Rock threesome will play a headlining slot to include a selection of their most fearless songs and ballistic offerings from their latest album Spirit in the System.
Dan Arnold of The Qemists said: “We’re stoked to be playing in Bedford, and pleased to be supported by up and coming bands. When we first started, it was really difficult to be recognised as we didn’t fit any specific genre.
“In the end we realised we could be producers, we could be the band, we could play any kind of music we wanted to, and people would just have to accept that. And we hope future acts realise that too.”
