The Lottery Winners

Live and Unsigned veterans return to their roots

Formed in October 2008, Indie band The Lottery Winners are certainly making big waves in the music industry. The fresh and funky four piece are well recognised for their original and quirky image and draw their inspiration from the Rock and Roll era of the 50's. They have cited Morrissey, The Smiths, the Beach Boys and Paul Simon as a few of their musical influences.

In the last two years they have built a strong fan base and supported well known artists including Get Cape and Kid British, but it was when the band won Live and Unsigned 2010 that their popularity soared! They beat over 10,000 acts from across the UK to perform at the Grand Final at the 02 in London and wowed the crowds taking away the top spot!

Since then the band have been busy! They've been heavily featured in National and Regional media including Zoo magazine, The Fly, Kerrang, Q and Mojo. They have also just performed in Italy, on the main stage of one of Europe's most recognised festivals for new music, Tour Music Fest.

The band’s second single Lovers Lane was released in February and is hot on the heels of their successful hit Paper Plate Faces. The band are currently busy playing up and down the UK, and have performed as special guests at numerous shows on the Live and Unsigned Tour 2011.
