Missing Andy
Missing Andy performed in both Aldershot and Basildon as part of the MusicRadar Live and Unsigned Tour 2011. The Indie anthem makers were special guests at the Princes Hall and Towngate Theatre where they headlined the shows, treating fans to a blast of rhythmic, broody rock.
Missing Andy consist of Alex Greaves on Vocals, Jon Sharpe on Keys, Rob Jones on Bass, Steve Rolls on Guitar and Elliot Richardson on Drums, the band have gone from strength to strength since appearing on Sky TV’s Must Be the Music.
Best known for their biting social commentary, Missing Andy are one of the most honest and insightful bands there are, combining urban rhythms and cutting riffs to create a sound that captures the voice of a nation!
Missing Andy’s Live and Unsigned performances were ones to remember, as the fivesome played headlining slots which included a selection of their most fearless songs and anthemic offerings from their latest album The Greatest Show on Earth. The shows also included their two top thirty singles Sing for the Deaf and The Way we’re Made (Made in England).
Alex Greaves of Missing Andy said: “Roll on the 10th April, the best part of our job is getting up in front of a crowd and inspiring people. We believe people should create original music, and are looking forward to getting up and giving our all in Aldershot.”
Missing Andy are set to perform at Live Fest on the 23rd July 2011. Tickets for the event are priced at an early bird cost of just £25 and can be purchased from Live Fest.
