KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES have been announced to play a DJ set at London’s Live Fest, the capital’s biggest indoor festival which takes place on the 23rd July 2011 at The O2.
Live Fest will present a massive mix of some of the best acts in the UK music scene, including Indie alternative rock band GUILLEMOTS and FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND who will both be playing DJ sets. Fantastic value early bird tickets can be purchased through the link below and more Live Fest acts will be announced soon.

The festival will be spread over five venues within the famous London O2, from the grand Indig02, to Union Square, the glamorous Proud2, Inc Club and ASBaG and will feature a huge variety of music genres to suit any tastes - so whether you’re into urban beats or rock, pop and hardcore, this is the festival for you!
Cardiff-based alternative rock quintet Kids In Glass Houses shot out of the hot bed of Welsh talent in early 2007, finding a large and loyal fan-base almost instantly thanks to their huge songs and tireless work ethic. In the same year they won the Welsh Music Award for ‘Best New Band’ and Kerrang! named them one of ‘The Hottest Bands On The Planet’.
The recognition of Kids In Glass Houses grew stronger by the day, with support slots alongside Lostprophets, 30 Seconds to Mars, Hundred Reasons, and Funeral For A Friend, before the band released their debut album ‘Smart Casual’ in 2008, a number 29 album in the UK Charts.
Second album ‘Dirt’ soon followed in 2010 and with it, four single releases, including an appearance by Frankie Sandford of The Saturdays on ‘Undercover Lover’. 2010 saw a Reading and Leeds Festival appearance on the NME/Radio 1 Stage and with a new album in the pipeline and a September/October tour for 2011 this lot are definitely ones to watch.
A Live Fest spokesperson said: “We’re glad to announce Funeral for a Friend for a DJ set at Live Fest and we’re very much looking forward to hearing the music that they’ll play, it’s going to be a great event!”
“Alongside the Funeral for a Friend DJ set we’ll be seeing a host of acts from the hottest talent in the indie and urban music circuit, so it sure is set to be an unforgettable day out.”
Tickets for the event are priced at an early bird cost of just £25 and can be purchased from Live Fest. Check out the latest Kids In Glass Houses news.
