Danica Hunter

Danica Hunter is just 17 years old and has a powerful, unique and captivating voice, as well as a very passionate connection with her music. Danica always puts her own interpretation on music, even on songs she covers, and enjoys experimenting with various musical styles to come up with something different.  

Danica's guitarist Angus Chandler is also 17 years old and is a talented musician; he and Danica started to experiment with writing their own material together in their final school year. Angus co-writes the songs and accompanies Danica on guitar.

Angus studies electric guitar at ACM and Danica studies Performing Arts at Henley College but when they’re not studying they’re gigging and pushing their way ahead to become musical successes. They have been playing gigs around Oxford, London and Reading for the last year.

Danica qualified for the finals of the Open Mic UK (under 18s) music competition and played at the O2 Arena in London this year. She is now playing regular gigs and has been invited to play her first gig for BBC Introducing in Berkshire. Danica has recently finished recording her first 3-track EP ‘You and Me’ which will be available on iTunes in the near future.
