Cancer Bats

Cancer Bats played the Live and Unsigned Tour at the Beck Theatre in Hayes. The Canadian punk metallers  perfored as special guests. The Hayes show was one of only a handful of confirmed UK dates in the Cancer Bats 2011 diary.

 
The Cancer Bats consist of grimy hardcore behemoths Liam Cormier on Vocals, Scott Middleton on Guitar, Jaye Schwarzer on Bass and Mike Peters on Drums. Since 2006 the band have been defining the punk metal scene pushing out dirty, driving drum beats, ferocious lyrics and blistering vocals.
 
The giant foursome played a selection of their most brutal songs and offerings from their latest album Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones and were supported by all the best original talent Live and Unsigned has to offer.
 
Best known for their balls-out, hardcore rock and grinding guitars, Cancer Bats yet again prove that they are the hardest working band in rock, as they took to the stage at 2pm before heading to play the Hit The Deck Festival in Nottingham later that day.
 
Liam Cormier, Lead vocalist of the Cancer Bats said: “Ain’t nothin’ better than a good ol’ fashion hardcore matinee! Show up nice and early, party all afternoon and show up for dinner all sweaty with a black eye. Hayes was a ripper!”
