Want to play at The Big Stooshie – potentially the Largest Help For Heroes/SSAFA Forces Help Scottish fund raiser in 2012?

The first ever Big Stooshie festival aims to raise £100,000 for Help for Heroes and SSAFA Forces Help, which the organisers hope would make the event the largest Scottish fundraiser for the charities in 2012.

The Big Stooshie has most recently confirmed that global superstars JAMES will be performing.

Joining JAMES over the course of the event are over 50 live performers with some incredible names including; The Hoosiers, The Damned, From The Jam, The Beat, The Boomtown Rats, The Dykeenies, Tommy Reilly, The Complete Stones Roses, Kazabian, Proud Mary, Scarlet Shift and introducing with their first main stage performance Waiting On Jack.

To finalise this incredible line-up another two top headliners will be announced shortly, but the organisers remain tight-lipped about who they might be.

Scotland Festival

The Big Stooshie is hoping to become the biggest Help For Heroes fundraiser festival in Scotland, and has already received thousands of requests from unsigned acts from around the region and across the UK applying to play at the festival, but spaces are limited.

So for the 2012 festival, The Big Stooshie is working in conjunction with the Live and Unsigned competition to find four acts to play at the renowned event. Acts will be chosen from the Live Showcases to play a slot at The Big Stooshie and the lucky winners will take to the stage in front of a crowd of thousands of music lovers.
