Want to play at Guernsey Festival – the biggest festival Guernsey has ever seen?
Organised by Jon and Paul Stephen, this major music and cultural event saw its debut last year under the name The Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts and was a huge success. With the likes of Ocean Colour Scene,Primal Scream and Example appearing, it was later shortlisted in the Best New Festival category by the UK Festival Awards.
The festival is situated on farmland known locally as ‘the Rabbit Warren’ in the parish of St Sampson on the Channel Island of Guernsey and will take place on 23 and 24 June, under the simplified moniker: Guernsey Festival.
Guernsey Festival
Guernsey Festival is the biggest festival in Guernsey, therefore it should come as no surprise that organisers receive thousands of requests from unsigned acts from around the region and across the UK applying to play at the festival, but there just aren’t enough spaces to go around!
So for the 2012 festival, Guernsey is going to choose one Live and Unsigned act to play their festival. The act will be chosen from the Grand Finalists.
