What can you say about Natasha Hamilton?  As she prepares for solo stardom, the future looks bright for one of the UK’s most talented singers.

Having joined the fledgling Atomic Kitten aged just 16 the Kittens’ signed their first deal with EMI/Innocent 2 months later and she soon rose to fame with the band’s debut hit "Right Now" hitting the top ten in December 1999.

It took another 13 months of hard work and globetrotting as well as new member Jenny Frost replacing Kerry Katona before the band released their anthem, the worldwide number 1 smash hit "Whole Again" which topped the UK chart for 4 amazing weeks and was a global smash spending 6 weeks at number one in Germany and going to the top spot in 19 countries.

They followed this huge success with another number 1 “Eternal Flame” and the number 1 album “Right Now”.

Their 2nd album “Feels So Good” continued where Right Now left off delivering another worldwide number 1 with “The Tide Is High” and going on to sell more than a million and a half copies spawning a further top 3 top 5 singles with “The Last Goodbye” and the dancefloor smash  “Be With You”.

They released the first single from their 3rd album, the fantastic “If You Come to Me” in September 2003 which gave them yet another top 3 single and followed this with the triple platinum selling “Ladies Night” album with the title track (on which they duetted with none other than Kool and the Gang themselves) giving the band yet another top 5 single and yet another global smash.

Just ahead of the start of their arena tour in January 2004 the band announced they were taking an extended break and released their greatest hits package to coincide with the tour while the Wembley concert gave the band their first number 1 DVD.  Natasha took a year and a half out devoting herself to son Josh and delivering his brother Harry on New Year’s Eve 2005.    In March 2006 she prepared to return to her musical career and began writing and recording her first solo songs.

Her triumphs in TV have been many, from wowing audiences with her rendition of the classic hit ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ on ITV1s Movie Music Mania, to being the judges’ winner on the hit BBC1 show ‘Just the Two of Us’ in February and March 2006, she made the show her own and subsequently repeated her performance in early 2007.

January 2008 saw Tash reunited once again with her 2 fellow Atomic Kittens for “The Number One Project,” a charity that aims to raise money for 6 local causes in and around the Liverpool area.  The Kittens recorded and released their version of Cilla Blacks ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’ while Natasha also recorded a solo version of yet another Cilla classic, ‘You’re My World’ which is the powerful opening track on the Number One Project Album.

As she moved into 2008 her Armada Records single “Round and Round” broke into the US top 20 dance singles, number 1 in Brazil Dance charts, and at the time of writing remains in the top 20 with releases scheduled for France, Germany and Switzerland in spring 08.  She is also currently collaborating on a follow up single with Duane Harden (Armand Van Helden, Love Generation) for a summer 2008 release.
